Surge Player is a home media player and library experience. Users connect their own supported libraries and services, then Surge organizes playback, browsing, profiles, favorites, and premium integrations around them.
Does Surge Player provide the channels or movies?
No. Surge Player does not supply or sell the content catalog itself. It is a player and library layer for user-provided sources and supported integrations.
Which Fire TV devices are supported?
The signed Android APK supports compatible Fire TV devices running Fire OS. It does not run on Vega OS, and a Vega OS or Amazon Appstore version is not available yet.
What makes the kids experience different?
A kids profile is still a normal personal profile. A parent can optionally lock it to Home, then require a PIN before that profile can leave Home and browse the wider app.
